How to get rid of 'Hangover Face'

It's bank holiday weekend. We know you're going to be partying, and so you should,  but when it comes to the second night out in a row, your face can start to look a little less, well, fresh.

So, how can we make ourselves look beautiful and ready for night number 2?!

Step 1 - Sparkling Water.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Your skin is literally begging you for water after you parched it of all hydration last night. Sparkling water is said to increase your metabolism slightly and get rid of the hangover quicker, so grab your San Pellegrino.

Step 2 - Vitamins

Your body is FIGHTING against all the poison you have put into your body so you need to at least give it some tools. Vitamins will be your best friend today so grab them in all forms of fruit and vegetables (a bloody mary doesn't count I'm sorry).

Step 3 - Jade Roller

Your face is feeling all hot and puffy, your head is burning and headache has set in. There is nothing better than the soothing, cool feeling of a jade roller rolling away your regrets from the night before. It will also help with lymphatic drainage, getting rid of your puffy face and leaving it like a supermodel.

Step 4 - Exfoliation

Honestly, your face is going to be showing signs of lack of sleep and it will probably be looking dry and and a bit deflated. This is where we look for a trusty humectant! (Humectants are used as a way of increasing and maintaining moisture in the skin and hair). The BYBI Prime Time Facial Exfoliator contains natural humectants and will also slough off any dead skin cells, leaving your skin GLOWING and also perfectly primed for makeup.

Step 5 - Sleep

If you can, have a biiiiiig glass of water and then have a snooze. Your body repairs itself when its sleeping and you probably need all the repairing you can get so put your silk eye mask on and catch some z's.

Step 6 - Go bananas.

Bananas are full of potassium, which you lose when you frequently urinate. They are also one of the best natural sources of vitamin B6, which in a study printed in the journal Annals of Nutrition showed can reduce hangover symptoms by as much as 50 per cent. So try and eat one, or two.

Step 7 - Take a Detox Bath

If you have ever taken a long bath with epsom salts, you know how good it feels. Yes, you will sweat, a lot, but it will pull out all the toxins in your body and make you feel 100x better. Put some essential oils or this Bath Potion in there too for extra spa feel.

Step 8 - Detox Mask

We are trying to detoxify the face here, and what better way than a Detox Mask?! Mix the BYBI Detox Dust with some avocado to replenish the skin, or you can just mix it with water or your favourite cleanser, too. Your face will be looking back to normal in no time!
